The full-frame Schneider Kreuznach 14-24mm f/2.8 FE for Sony E-mount is a super-ultra-wide lens with a 14-24mm focal range. Given its wide range, it’s ideal for landscape, architecture, and even astrophotography, taking full advantage of Sony’s full-frame Alpha camera system.

We are pleased to extend our presence in the still photography market with our expertise in optics. This initiative is an important step for our company, and we are proud to collaborate with LK Samyang. Together, we are developing our first mirrorless lenses designed specifically for photography enthusiasts – Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich, CEO of the Schneider-Kreuznach.

Samyang and Schneider Kreuznach revealed the new collaboration and its first-born lens at the recent CP+ Photo Show 2025 held in Yokohama, Japan.

We will continue our collaboration with Schneider-Kreuznach to develop and release zoom lenses that meet consumer needs, while ensuring sustained momentum for growth in the interchangeable lens market – Mr. Bonwook Koo, CEO of LK Samyang.

The newly announced Schneider Kreuznach 14-24mm f/2.8 FE is relatively compact at 3.49 x 3.3″ (88.8 x 84mm) and weighs 15.7oz (445g).

Little else is known about the upcoming full-frame, super-wide-zoom, jointly developed lens other than that it offers a close-up shooting distance of 7″(18cm).
